Jetex operates in two countries that have seen a significant decline in oil and gas reserves.
The Netherlands terminated production from the massive Groningen Field due to related surface subsidence and faulting. Production from all other onshore and offshore fields has fallen by 80% since 2020 and is half what it was a decade ago, making it a net importer. Jetex prospects have the ability to arrest the reserves decline. Dutch gas prices are strong.
New Zealand production has halved since 2000 with imminent closure anticipated for the giant Maui Field. Gas prices are very high with several small industries forced to close. The Government has implemented new guidelines effective September 2025 for increased oil and gas permitting.
